OMA Announces 25th Outdoor Advertising Awards



The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) has announced that the 25th Outdoor Advertising Awards will take place on Thursday 8th October in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.

The 25th Outdoor Advertising Awards will recognise and reward the best outdoor advertising campaigns displayed in Ireland and Northern Ireland over the past 2 years. The relationship between media planning and creativity is crucial for successful Outdoor advertising. 

In recognition of the relationship between media planning and creativity, the OMA has extended the awards to include creative disciplines including copywriting, art direction and branding. 

Announcing the launch of the awards, Terry Buckley president of the OMA and MD of Clear Channel Ireland said that “these awards celebrate outstanding outdoor advertising campaigns over the past two years. Our medium is evolving and embracing new technologies and more than ever shows its enduring ability to amuse, entertain and inform. We’re delighted to welcome back Anton Savage as MC for this year’s ceremony.”

The judges for the awards are Alan Cox, Core Media; Rachael Littlewood, MediaCom, Dave Harland, Omnicom Media Group; Miriam Hughes, DDFH&B; Roma O’Connor, McDonald’s; Joanne McKendry, AV Browne;  Adam Crane, Cawley Nea TBWA and Terry Buckley, Clear Channel.
